Why PPL School Cards ?
The PPL School Card will replace the need for cash to make purchases on the school campus. This facility introduces a level of security for students, a sense of wellbeing for parents and increase accountability for school administration.
The PPL School Card platform is powered by Daisy Health Technology, which offers a very high level of security.

The PPL School Card can be used to:
- make purchases on the school campus
- make payments at the bursary
- obtain discounts on items at various external vendors
The PPL Student Card is built on a secure platform where school administrators can monitor daily sales on campus, and parents and students can monitor card usage.
How to sign up
Parents with children attending participating schools can enroll their child(ren) into the PPL School Card program by clicking HERE or the “School Card” button at the top right of this page. Cards are free of costs, however lost or stolen cards are replaced at $500 each.
- Complete the form with the reqired information
- Submit the form by selecting the submit button
- Collect the card from the school your child attends within three school days.
How to purchase points
Points are purchased at pplgiftcards.com/shop. 1 point is equal at 1 dollar at the vendor location. There is a small service fee charged when points are purchased. The charge is a percentage of the value of the points.
- Select the card associated with the school your child attends
- Select or enter the value of the points you want to purchase for your child
- enter the required information (Child’s name, a phone number, an email address, your name and phone number)
- Make the purchase (use credit of debit card)*
- When you make your first purchase, you will be asked to enter your contact information
* Transactions are done through the ‘Fygaro’ payment gateway operated by National Commercial Bank (NCB) Jamaica Limited.
How to use the card
Student can use the card at their school to make purchase of food, stationary and other items. The vending location will be determined by the individual school. If the card is lost or stolen the student can still make purchases. Only the authorized card holder will be able to make a purchase with the card. Each card is protected by a 6-digit PIN which should be kept safe and private by the student. This PIN can be changed by the parent should the need arise.
- Visit the location on the school campus the purchase will be made
- Present the card to the cashier after stating the desired items
- Enter the PIN
- Collect the purchased items
If the card is lost or stolen, the student should provide the cashier with the phone number associated with the card. When instructed, the student should enter the PIN. Lost or stolen card should be reported to 876-997-0180 or support@pplgiftcard.com. Cards are replaced at $500 each.
Outside location purchases
PPL have partnered with some loctions where students can get discounts when they present the PPL School card and their school’s ID. A list of these locations can be found HERE.
